Letter from the Secretary General

Esteemed attendees,
It is with great pleasure and honor that I extend my greetings to you at the inaugural conference of Nemesis Court Simulations. As the Secretary General, I am filled with excitement about the prospect of meeting you in our first conference under the BAUMUN club. The opportunity to unite the aspiring legal minds of our nation and engage in a professional simulation as part of our legal education initiative is truly thrilling for me.

This year, together with our honorable participants, we will be taking the first step in establishing a tradition within the framework of Bahçeşehir University, accompanied by our high-caliber team in the field of court simulations. The tradition we are in the process of establishing will be unveiled for the first time by a team that has been developing itself in the field of court simulations for years. That is why I would like to express our confidence in the solidity of the initial step we are about to take.

This year there will be four courts prepared in collaboration with the valuable efforts of our academic team, will be open for your participation. Participant selections for these courts will be conducted by seeking various qualifications, varying from court to court, ensuring high-level competition and academic productivity. The four courts that will be held with your participation are T.C. Anayasa Mahkemesi, İstanbul Tahkim Merkezi, European Court of Human Rights and International Criminal Court.

Additionally, I would like to emphasize that our conference, aimed at addressing the practical deficiencies in legal education, will undoubtedly be highly productive for participants and our teams. In this regard, I want to inform you that the organizational part of our conference is tirelessly working and they have prepared activities unique to law students for you.

Considering all of these factors, I proudly invite you to the first conference of Nemesis Court Simulations, to take the first steps in establishing a tradition. On behalf of all the teams, I extend a warm welcome to you in advance.

Letter from the Director General

Distinguished Participants,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I extend my warmest welcome to each and every one of you to our first annual session of Nemesis Court Simulations'24.

As the Director General, I, Irmak Gül, a student at Bahçeşehir University Law Faculty and also the Co-Founder with my esteemed friend Hakkı Atanur Duman of Nemesis Court Simulations, I am thrilled to witness this momentous occasion.

As we approach nearly a year since the inception of the idea behind Nemesis Court Simulations, it is with immense pride that we present this conference to you. I can assure you that this endeavor has been a labor of love, involving countless hours of hard work, dedication and honest buck.

On behalf of my organization team, I would like to assure you that we have taken great care to ensure that everything is tailored to your demands and needs. We have combined our years of experience in organizing conferences to bring you the best possible experience together with my dearest Deputy Director General Zeynep Haseki and BAUMUN Community.

And a big appreciation to Salim Can Eser and Hakkı Atanur Duman and for their exceptional academic skills.

This inaugural conference marks a momentous occasion, not just for Nemesis Court Simulations but for each of you who choose to be a part of it. We are confident that Nemesis Court Simulations'24 will be an unforgettable experience for all.
